APOLLO 0893-01-01

The Apollo 0893-01-01 is a Linear Beam Smoke Detector — designed to detect smoke in large areas, such as warehouses, gymnasiums, and high-ceilinged buildings.

It works by emitting a beam of light (usually infrared) from a transmitter to a receiver; when smoke particles pass through the beam, the intensity of the received light decreases, and the device triggers an alarm.
