The DSC WS4933 Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector provides reliable carbon monoxide detection for wireless 433 MHz DSC Alarm Systems. This includes the DSC Impassa, the DSC ALEXOR 2-Way Wireless System and most DSC PowerSeries Security Systems running Firmware Version 4.5 or higher.
Outbreaks of carbon monoxide gas kill hundreds of people every year. This gas is odorless and tasteless, which makes it impossible to detect without a sensor. You can prevent these casualties with a reliable and properly functioning carbon monoxide sensor. The DSC WS4933 uses electro-chemical sensing technology to reliably detect the presence of lethal CO gas. The device also includes an 85 dB sounder to alert building occupants.
